If I were an investigative journalist, the story I would be tracking down is how in bloody, h-e-double-hockey-sticks, this 'hockey mom' got to be the executive of the state of Alaska. It could NOT have been because of her brains or her grasp of complex issues, that is a certainty.
Had all the other candidates been found dead in a ice-fishing hut with a faulty kerosene heater? What's the story?
