The point of the article is that if we are to grow out of our sheep mentality, we must ask, Cui Bono, who benefits. If that question leads you to conclude that Bush and Blair had a hand in it, i would say that is congruent with the events. If you were to say that a fringe element determined to keep us at war are responsible, i would say that is congruent. If you were to say that the corporate interests had a hand in it, that would be congruent.
But don't tell me that a brilliant terrorist organization that orchestrated 911, could not forsee how this attack gains them nothing and helps the very people that they are fighting against in this war. THAT, is stupid. Don't tell me that the timing doesn't reek, in that the people who stand to benefit the most, are Bush and Blair.
As i said, it saddened me greatly to have to even write the article but the events of today change very little. Bush still lied to Congress to go to war. He still started that war 6 months prior to asking Congress for approval. Both of these things are impeachable offenses. 1,700-7,000 American children have died because of these lies and that has not changed. Karl Rove still may have committed treason. Please, do not be so quick to wrap yourself up in the flag again. Last time they asked you to do that it was 911 and 1,700-7,000 families have been ripped asunder because of it. Next time, it may your kid they come for, and your kid who comes home in a box. Ask yourself if that is worth it. Tonight, pray if it would be worth it.
But please, do not confuse things. I am not a democrat, nor a republican. I am not a leftist, i am a fiscal and social conservative who serves only one master, God. God is the truth, and the truth shall set you free. My writing is not serving some sinister cause and i get no pleasure from discussing these things. I do not hate Bush, i do not even know him. I hate the pain and bloodshed he has wrought upon this world in the name of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
I have no children, and am too old to worry about a draft. But many of you should have these concerns. Do not be so quick to deal in death my friends, in the end, death always wins until the day of our Lord comes.
