I'm wondering whether China censors OpEdNews. I'm also wondering whether people should be proactive about defeating the censors.

::::::::

Does anyone know whether OpEdNews is censored in China? I'd bet it IS censored. I found the following OpEdNews article about censorship in China:

I too am a Grass Mud Horse - Cao Ni Ma!

as well as this article by Human Rights Watch:

China: Tiananmen's Unhealed Wounds

Even if China censors OpEdNews and numerous similar sites, I bet we can still beat the censors, by encoding messages in images and using messages that are difficult to interpret via character recognition. For example:

An example of an encoded message

If people do similar encoding on all sorts of pages, it would be very difficult for Chinese censors to suppress critical information without also suppressing lots of useful information.
