According to the May edition of American Rifleman, Bob Reynolds, gunsmith and owner of Templar Consulting LLC, will make a special presentation of a very special assault rifle fit for a crusading christian bang-up beauty queen-cum-moose hunter-cum Governor and VP candidate. If “Deadeye” Dick Cheney had been gifted with one of these babies there wouldn’t be a quail or lawyer left in Wyoming.
It’s a modified AR-15 (civilian version of the milspec M16 rifle), features several custom engravings, including The Big Dipper, an outline of the state of Alaska on the stock, and on the upper receiver are a moose, the NRA logo and an inscription, “In Honor of Governor Sarah Palin.” It’s been dubbed “The Alaskan Hunter” and Reynolds plans to present his gift at the NRA Foundation Banquet on May 14.
