Yes, America's hope is restored with the promised change that Senator (now President-elect) Obama promises to bring to the nation's top office. Isn't that interesting! Why interesting?Well, a fair number of folks here at OpEdNews.com over the past few years (but the last 12 months in particular) prophesized that the puppet of the American military-industrial complex (aka President Bu$h) and his Nazi-like henchmen would pull something off (along the scale of their earlier 9/11 attacks, of course) to either (a) keep him in power and prevent a national election or (2) keep the Republican party in the Executive following a national election.
And yet... we saw yesterday that the affectionately-labeled American sheeple (as many authors and posters are want to call them here) voted for Obama. No wide-scale election fraud (real OR imagined) has been revealed (not that it wasn't proclaimed imminent) and election officials and equipment worked efficiently and successfully. Wow!
I know what you're thinking. "But... but... I've been reading here at OEN that Fascism and its proponents rule America, the MIC controls the government and its 'fradulent' elections, the American people are largely stupid an non-intellectual, a false flag operation designed to murder more Americans (in addition to those lost in 9/11) had already been planned, etc... Sooo, how was Senator Obama elected President?"
Well, my dear Progressives, Obama was elected president because the American political system (for all of its shortcomings) works just as it has for the past 219 years. And it works BECAUSE OF the American people - NOT sheeple. This is the same group that Progressives have haughtily dismissed (repeatedly, mind you) over the past several years as a mass of simpletons that focus solely on their TV and Xbox, tuning reality off and fantasy on, who are almost incapable of an independent thought with someone professing a faith in God telling them what to do.
You know, this is the same group of people that believe (snicker, snicker) that 9/11 was caused by 19 Muslim hijackers with box cutters lead by a man in a cave. Can you imagine! Actually, I can and I hope the election results compel others to re-evaluate their negative (and now-proven false) assessments of America, its government, and most importantly its people.
