We drove to the top of Missouri to watch our foster granddaughter graduate from college with a BS in Chemistry. On the way, we saw 6 dead deer, which had thought crossing the road was a good idea. But it wasn't very long ago, that deer was almost on the endangered list. A little planning and defining what can and cannot be harvested, changed the deer population. The change? Don't kill the females. Cultivate the females and only get rid of males, ... after all, most male deer will die without a breeding group. Once done, the law brought back the deer in such large quantities that many states are allowing for a short "doe" season with primative firearms.
Killing Iraq babies, by killing their not yet mommies, reduces the future population of the species. But, ... George Bush's "favor-right" job in Texas was killing prisoners. He delighted in it, as he delights in the slaughter of women as "collateral" damage in Iraq. Sorry, Georgie, there isn't a smart bomb made that will discern the difference between a male and a female. That is why war is not considered a cultivational process for peace.
