Bush and the neo-corporatists care about maintaining cheap labor, uneducated, and disempowered. Jingoistic nationalism must be played to the audience back home telling them that they better suck it up and learn how to compete in the global economy by taking lower wages and eliminating any regulations restricting corporations.
Didn't Bush just sign into law the 700 mile militarized border fence legislated by the Repugnant ones just last year? Sure Mr. Bush cares about Mexicans, he wants them reporting to work on time in the maquiladoras just south of the border.
I'll bet that Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfield won't be traveling to any countries that signed the International Criminal Court agreement.
