I am a little disappointed that OpEd hasn’t posted articles on the ruling of the court in the trial of Mohamid. Mohamid accuses MI5 of compliance in his torture by the Northern Alliance and the US. The court document poses a number of legal questions on international law but points out that, by supplying information to the US, the British government becomes more than a witness to such inhumane acts.
This case seems to open the doors to international intervention. I do not know of another situation where the US has been painted in so blatant terms for the world to see. This could well be the beginning of international attention.
I would hope that OpEd would be promoting these articles.
