Did Republicans and Democrats listen to the same speech? Or...just what speech did Gov Bobby Jindal, in his ‘rebuttal’ to Obama’s speech, hear?

Gov Jindal made his comments even as Louisiana is still in turmoil years later after Katrina. Let’s be real and honest here folks and quit trying to convince the American people that the GOP has America’s best interests at heart. Nobody buys that anymore. Never once did the Republicans parse and criticize and grill their erstwhile hero, the last president Bush or dissect everything he did.

Before I go any further, let me say that Bobby Jindal reminds me of that alien pawn shop owner who deals in alien weapons in the movies, "Men in Black" and "Men in Black II" The character's name in those movies was "Jack Jeebs" (played by Tony Shaloub). He is a slimy, under the radar dirty dealer and expert at deception. And Jindal looks and acts like Jack Jeebs in "Men in Black." The whole Republican Party seems these days to be filled with pathetic loser types who make a profession of being obstructionist and opposing for the sake of opposing, regardless of what the majority of the American people want or what their opposition costs the American people.

Almost 70 percent of Americans approve of the job Obama is doing. So the Republicans come across as sore losers when they attempt to play ‘gotcha’ politics at the very time our country is hurting so bad. Jindal even bragged about continuing to treat the poor of his state poorly. And after all, it was the Republicans who spent 9 trillion dollars and wasted it. Now that Obama tries to spend about a trillion all told to FIX the economy …NOW Republicans ( and their fat cat Wall Street allies) react like spoiled children who don’t get their own way. They always get mad when the poor get anything. The stock market goes up only when the poor get the shaft.......... #(*_! them and the horse they rode in on!

The Party of "GOP" would appear to stand for "Grandstanding Obstructionist Phonies". And it is PAY BACK time for the hard right rump of America’s naysayers who ought to hang their heads in shame if they have any and return to the American people what their party criminally stole. Then and only then may they gripe and pitch a fit about Obama's economic plans. I don't want any sermons from the very same people who put us all into this mess. All they still seem to offer are more failed tax cut policies and crony, sweetheart-giveaways to the business rich.

The real reason Republicans have no confidence in Obama is because they are jonesing for the days when Bush let them run roughshod over America. They’re mad that those days are over. Wall Streeters and Republicans are like vampires: if they don't get the poors’ blood given to the rich, they get mad. Too bad, so sad. Let the stock market go down to zero. The rich need to learn a lesson. If they take everything the poor have away from them, then these same rich blood suckers won’t be able to sell their products to anyone and they will lose market share. That should be a "duh" but they haven’t figured that one out yet.

They are like the giant in the nursery rhyme that strangles the goose that laid the golden egg because their greed is so boundless that they kill the very source of their own income.

Republican politicians seem to find more time to criticize or say they could do it better than they find any time to come up with truly workable, new alternatives to the economic disaster all around us. If indeed they are so opposed to Democrats, then let them stop offering up more of the same no-good policies which have already failed.

These hypocrites had their chance but now they complain and say Obama is throwing money out the window. What about even their recent record? What about the original stimulus fund and TARP money that was handed out by George W. Bush whose treasury secretary put out his plan without any guidelines?

Now that President Obama has inherited the debt these same right wingers ran up over eight long years, they forget where our economic troubles originated and they act as if they had credentials to lecture and as if they still had something to say.

Lectures about Obama from these right wing gasbags are only to be tolerated when they PAY BACK all the public money they bilked from the American taxpayer and they repay the money they looted from our Treasury in order to pay out for pig-rich tax cuts and for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars that were placed on an invisible credit card to the Chinese.

Obama was elected by the American people to fix the GOP’s mess. How they go to bed at night and everything is fine in their household I fail to understand. They should try trading places with someone who lost their home and lost their job with no health insurance. It’s easy when Republicans have theirs and have a gold spoon in their mouths, so how would they know?. They are not suffering. It is the American people that are suffering and their needs are more important.

President Obama's is a realistic attainable plan for those who truly want to see progress in America; Governor Jindal can only offer tired old GOP failed ideas to oppose Obama’s strong approach to the economy Jindal, like B0NER, McConnell, McCain, and all the GOP pie-holes appear to be making campaign speeches. The rebuttal Jindal delivered appeared to be simply exhorting anyone who is listening not to believe the President. We don't need more division if Republicans haven’t any real ideas to contribute. We need to be working together. Why is this so hard for them to understand? Tax cuts and plans for business only work if you have a job.

I wonder how many more people have to lose their jobs and homes before this governor and others like him get a clue? It was so obvious that the Republicans were pulling more slash and burn plays out of Karl Rove's handbook—Seriously: Why is it ok for a governor who is receiving federal money for his state to respond with rejectionist, Johnny Reb-style lectures toward the president about fiscal responsibility and fiscal conservatism? In light of the Republicans’ miserable spending record, I thought Jindal’s and the GOP’s response was pathetic.

To the GOP, that lost the election and hypocritically pose as sudden pork police, we all, who have a brain, say : "Get over it. It is your problem. Avaunt ye dead-enders!

The American people are 70 to 30 in favor of Obama and against YOU. Get over it and do your job of serving the American people instead of your own political interests.
