How many poor and desperate Blacks might have been shot by mercenaries in New Orleans during the awful days of Katrina. When America should have been outpouring compassion toward these people, FEMA and Homeland Security were hiring guns to defend flooded-out businesses from already stricken citizens or to protect the property of the rich. FEMA couldn't get doctors down there with any speed, but they sure could get mercs!
Rumors continue to surface that scores of citizens, perhaps hundreds or even more, were gunned down by Blackwater and its cousins in yet more turkey shoots, a term bandied about cynically in Iraq. What is needed now, though, is solid evidence. If you have any, bring it out.
