What do you say?

::::::::

It has long intrigued me that there was never any evidence shown, at least that I know of, to prove that Osama bin Laden was behind 9/11-let alone evidence that would hold up in a court of law, or for that matter, in a junior high science class. The government merely claimed that bin was the man, and thus he became The Man.

Furthermore, bin Laden never took credit for 9/11, as far as I know.

Thus it was with considerable interest that I read

an article referenced in a comment on Alternet yesterday, wherein bin emphatically denied having anything to do with 9/11, and our truth-sayer-in-chief could only say that bin was "the prime suspect," as of September 17, 2001.

Having read almost everything I could find on bin Laden's interviews, proclaimations, letters, biography, etc. over the years, my own conclusion is that, while he may be an egomaniac and a shining example of the joy of religion, he is not dishonest.

I have asked several people who pay attention to the news if they knew of any actual evidence implicating bin, and none of them did. If any reader has any, I'd like to see it.

Meanwhile, I would suggest that this is exceptionally relevant to anyone pondering the discrepancies in what is known about 9/11, since I think we can all agree that SOMEONE almost certainly did it.
