Here is the link to the article. And since that is out of the way, I will now take a little time to discuss a few of my experiences with Google and politics.
This election season, Google played host to many candidates looking to win over the support of the tech-savvy professionals working for the Goliath that is Google. I worked at Google's main campus in Mountain View, CA during the heart of the primaries.
One afternoon, walking in to get a sandwich from the cafeteria, I was confronted by security that shuffled me away from some old guy I soon recognized as John McCain. I proceeded to get my food, but old Bomber John got in my way once again as I was trying to leave, shaking paws and grimacing for the cameras. I believe Ms. Clinton came by at some point, but I took no notice.
A month or two later, the campus was all abuzz about the arrival of Mr. Barack Obama, the man destined to save our country. I did not attend the speech, but my office emptied out as his flock gathered to hear his inspiring words. Instead, I left work early with an away message of "Do not vote for Barack Obama, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, or any of the CFR/NWO fascists." Needless to say, my warning was not received very well. Neither were my predictions of the coming economic disaster.. until they began to come true and then I was asked to present my opinions on how a "recession" would affect the talent pool from which Google recruits.
There was one man I was willing to see speak when he came to Google: Ron Paul. There was such a big turnout for his hour-long speech that there was an overflow space with a live feed of the event. Of course, I was there early enough to get a good spot. He was applauded often and loudly. Here is the entire video of an honest man speaking candidly to an audience consisting of some of the smartest engineers in the world.
So what do I think of Schmidt endorsing Obama? Corporatism/cronyism at its finest.
By the way, do not let G666le (federal gov't contractors and CFR members) microchip you or anyone you love. They want everything and everyone in the world tagged and searchable in real time. Most people working there are good people (probably even the executives) but the road they are taking to the future is a scary path.
