Beyond a shadow of a doubt the Iraqi dissident was paid to throw his shoes at W.

Message winston smith
Herr Karl loves to humiliate "Bubble Boy". Remember Rove had the "intellectually
incurious" empty suit pose in front of that "Mission Accomplished" banner. The
second that occurred every pundit said it would blow up in Rove's face. Herr
Karl might be twisted, but he isn't stupid--yet he went ahead with having the
draft dodger pose in military garb on USS Abraham Lincoln during a televised
address on May 1, 2003. Rove knew that W would say that it was the end to major
combat operations in Iraq only to have reality to prove him a liar.

We heard endlessly that big bro 43 didn't arrange for that banner for his
televised address on May 1, 2003 on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Seeing another
official say that W's administration had nothing to do with that banner sent
streams of anger and hatred pulsing through me. I can't take the cognitive dissonance anymore. If I heard it a few more times I would have offered up my most prized possession just to have the lies stop.

Why would Rove put the dolt in that position? Rove wanted a chance to have his boy look like John Wayne in front of the adoring apathetic red staters who sop up that kind of theatre and he figured that the red staters would ignore the facts.

Rove told big bro 43 to stand tall as the shoes were being lobbed at him and
here is why it was planned. The Iraqi security allowed this TV reporter, who had
a well documented history of being anti-American in, even though his background
was known.

His brother Durgham said the shoe thrower, Muntader al-Zaid, had been detained for a day by US forces at the beginning of the year, and that he had been kidnapped in the heart of Baghdad in November 2007 and held for a week by
unknown captors-so they knew his past and of his hatred for the US infidels.

A colleague of the shoe thrower, Muntader al-Zaidi, at al-Baghdadiya satellite
channel, said the correspondent had been "planning for this from a long time and
that his dream is to hit Bush with shoes. His brother Durgham said "Like everyone in our family he hates the occupation and considers Bush to have destroyed Iraq and killed its people. His actions restore Iraqi dignity."
Zaidi's aunt Umm Zaman, who lives in the same building as ,Muntader al-Zaidi ,
described her nephew's deed as the realisation of a long-held wish.
"For a long time he has wanted to hit Bush with a shoe, and at last his dream
has come true," she said.

It was no fluke that this guy threw a shoe at big bro 43. Remember the
execution of Hussein? The Iraqi security participated in that ethical travesty
as well as this shoe throwing adventure.

Rove explained to W that many Americans would feel that everything the US stands
for was being mocked when Muntazer al-Zaidi yelled "It is the farewell kiss, you
dog" and hurled the shoes. The legacy tour that big bro 43 is currently doing is
predictably failing as what positive aspect of his term can W point to? Herr
Karl must have thought that possibly W's poll numbers could reach the unheard of
high of 23 if he took a hit for the US of A. If not he had good pictures of the moron who
called him "Turd Blossom"!

And look at his rehearsed lines ""So what if the guy threw his shoe at me? It's
like driving down the street and having people not gesturing with all five
fingers.
"It's a way for people to draw attention. I don't know what the guy's cause is.
But one thing is for certain. He caused you to ask me a question about it. I
didn't feel the least bit threatened by it."

It was rehearsed. John Wayne couldn't have said it any better and W is no
extemporaneous speaker.

W also mumbled that the shoe throwers hatred of him isn't representative of the
love the average Iraqi has for being liberated, but that was a lie as Muntazer
al-Zaidi simple but devastatingly symbolic act was hailed by many Iraqis, with
Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr's movement calling him a hero and a Sunni Muslim
body labeling him an "icon of the resistance against the occupation."

The phrase "So what" came off W's lips so quickly it had to be rehearsed. It is what a ten year old wise-ass bully says after he knocked your food off the table in grade school and the idiotic one has been using it frequently recently. It is only said to kids the bully has no fear of,
and it is an attempt to intimidate the weaker one and W is trying to intimidate
us into hating him less. It won't work!

The article "Bush on the invasion of Iraq leading to al-Qaeda presence: 'So
what?' " at

describes ABC's Martha Raddatz interview of the bully bush 43 directly after the
shoe attack. He predictably played up his role as protector of the US against
"those who are against us" after 9/11 and mentioned that al Qaeda has turned out
to be a problem in Iraq.

The article has Raddatz grilling W about the Iraq War with W stating "There
have been no attacks since I have been president, since 9/11. One of the major
threats against al Qaeda turns out to have been Iraq. This is where al Qaeda said they were going to take their stand. This is where al Qaeda was hoping to
take ..."

"But not until after the U.S. invaded," Raddatz interrupts.

"Yeah, that's right," Bush says. "So what? The point is that al Qaeda said
they're going to take a stand."

Raddatz tried to interject reality into the interview. Then Raddatz remembered
that Phil Donahue and Ashleigh Banfield lost their jobs for disagreeing with
those who shaped their destiny.

Raddatz left big bro 43 off the hook. She knows that this legacy tour is running
into the reality that W's poll numbers are the lowest in history which leads you
to believe that the propaganda that Rove's boy have been using is failing and
that enough of our populace realizes that the Phase 2 investigation of the
pre-war Iraq intelligence clearly names big bro 43's "Oval Office Cabal" as
mangling truth to lie us into the Iraq war.

Big bro 43 managed to throw out this whopper while we are reacting to the shoe
throwing "While there's room for honest and healthy debate about the decisions I've made - and there's plenty of debate - there can be no debate about the results in keeping America safe."

We just want him to go and keep quiet, but W is lying and his own military
admits it as according to testimony by Alberto Mora, the former general counsel
of the Navy in the Senate Armed Services Committee report released December 11,
2008 ''There are serving U.S. flag-rank officers who maintain that the first
and second identifiable causes of U.S. combat deaths in Iraq - as judged by
their effectiveness in recruiting insurgent fighters into combat - are,
respectively, the symbols of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo.'' Mora testified.

Maybe Rove should realize that what the officials have been saying about torture
is the truth and that his "Ministry of Love" apparatus should dummy up when
asked about the "enhanced techniques" that W's orders authorized in Abu Ghraib
and Guantanamo.

Cheney was the first one to tell big bro 43 about "unitary executive power" and
how whatever the president did was legal-the same trap as "Tricky Dick" was captured
on, and Cheney is the one who won't keep his mouth shut now. Cheney's comments
in an interview with ABC News also mark the first time that he has acknowledged
playing a central role in clearing the CIA's use of an array of controversial
interrogation tactics, including a simulated drowning method known as
waterboarding.

"I was aware of the program, certainly, and involved in helping get the process
cleared," Cheney said.

Asked whether he still believes it was appropriate to use the waterboarding
method on terrorism suspects, Cheney said: "I do."

Back in July 21, 2005 Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., announced plans to introduce an
amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act, that would establish an
independent commission to examine U.S. policies and practices for the treatment
of detainees since September 11, 2001, including their detention and
interrogation, and allegations of detainee abuse. He is calling for it again. Appearing on Rachel Maddow's show, Levin called for an investigation and
possible indictment of Vice President Dick Cheney for admitting he authorized
waterboarding – a form of torture since the Spanish Inquisition and illegal
under numerous US laws and international treaties.
"When the vice president of the United States says that he believes ...
waterboarding is appropriate, there is no other conclusion than (he approved) a
form of torture," Sen. Levin told Maddow. "I was astounded to hear the (Cheney)
blithely say it's OK."

Levin, debunked the idiocy of Cheney's argument in his ABC interview that
torture didn't violate the law because John Yoo's legal opinion said it didn't .
Sen. Levin proclaimed, "You can't just change something that's illegal into
something that's legal by a lawyer writing a letter saying it's OK."

Yoo was just another flunky lawyer in the Justice Department but big bro 43
allowed him to strip away the Geneva Convention protections for detainees. You
can see this developing. Yoo is going to be this era's Ollie North. We are going to be the subjects of brainwashing once the independent commission begins investigating this.

Maybe we will have big bro 43 and his mentor, Cheney, appear simultaneously as
they did before the 9-11 Commission. W had some lies to appease the 9-11
Commission to allow his mouthpiece, the v.p. speak for him, but that won't
happen again. They will be in different sessions of the investigation and
different cells as a result of W's crimes.

In addition to this the Iraqi victims-the very people big bro 43 liberated as a
result of "Operation Iraqi Freedom", are celebrating their freedom by engaging
in a legal action against the US infidel occupiers. Unlike our red staters the
Iraqi victims won't ignore the facts. Their target is the fired former
Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld and American security firms for their role in
torturing Iraqis.

The article "Iraqi group files 200 lawsuits against Rumsfeld, US security firms
for torture" at

illustrates that the former victims are powerful now as the article states "Ali
Qeisi, head of the group the "Society of Victims of the US Occupation in Iraq,"
said the cases, relating to torture and abuse of Iraqi prisoners, have been
recently filed in federal courts in Virginia, Michigan and Maryland....
The torture was systemic, and those responsible for it should be punished and
the victims should be compensated."

Qeisi said he himself was tortured by US troops in Iraq during a six-month
detention, though he refused to elaborate."

Too many people hate them for too many reasons and the formerly powerless hunted by W's lies and "Shock and Awe" have become the omnipotent hunter with truth and justice on their side. Now W is flaunting his legacy-an utterly transparent propaganda gambit, while his right-hand man flaps his gums about his role in authorizing torture. You have to wonder why the v.p., who is always at his secret undisclosed location and never speaks the truth is implicating the crew now. Maybe he has a death wish. Maybe this is a plea for help. The old phrase "still water runs deep" never hit the mark better than this. An investigation into the matter has to occur. The world's contempt for the US will be enormous if we let them off the hook after Cheney's admissions in his ABC interview and with the new information that will come from Rummy's trial.
