I think that some of the 88 Ohio County Boards of Election need to take their lead from our Secretary of State.

::::::::

IN OTHERS WORDS - BEWARE THE RESULTS FROM THE PRIMARY ELECTIONS IN WHICH YOU JUST CAST VOTES

FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2010:
***************************************************************************************

HERE ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLY STATED LEGAL RULES FROM THE OHIO SECRETARY OF STATE:

2008-82: Guidelines for Absentee Voting
September 5, 2008

Form of Application

There is no required form for an application for an absentee ballot, although the Secretary of State's office does

prescribe an application that may be used (Form No. 11-A). A voter's request, in any form, is sufficient if

contains ALL of the following:

If the request is for a primary election ballot, the elector's party affiliation

Applications Valid for One Election Only

Current Ohio law limits absentee ballot applications to requests for a single election. Only voters using the federal

postcard application may request absentee ballots for more than one election.

HERE'S THE PROBLEM: ABOUT PRIMARY ELECTION REQUESTS FOR ABSENTEE VOTING APPLICATION FORMS -
COUNTY BOARDS OF ELECTION THAT ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE USE OF THE "OPTIONAL" FORM WILL

WIND UP COSTING THEMSELVES AND COSTING THE TAXPAYERS.

SEE THE PROBLEM? SOME OF THE COUNTY BOARDS OF ELECTIONS ARE NOT ONLY NOT IMPLEMENTING THE

PRESCRIBED OPTION - BUT ARE SABOTAGING THE PROCESS. UNINTENTIONAL OR INTENTIONAL -
IT NEEDS TO STOP RIGHT NOW AND RIGHT HERE:

USE OF THE SOS'S PRESCRIBED FORM FOR OPTIONAL USE DOESN'T MEAN COUNTY BOARDS OF ELECTION
CAN OMIT THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.

If the request is for a primary election ballot, the elector's party affiliation. IF THE SECRETARY OF THE STATE OF

OHIO OFFERS THE PRESCRIBED FORM AS PER THE ABOVE WEB SITE.

ABSENTEE VOTING APPLICATION FORM IS IGNORED OR CONFUSED BY SOME COUNTIES, THAT MEANS TO

CORRECT THE SITUATION MULTIPLE MAILINGS IS THE NATURAL CONSEQUENCE.
VOTERS CANNOT PERMIT THE WORD "OPTIONAL" TO BE MISUSED AND/OR ABUSED BY THE COUNTY BOARDS

OF ELECTION RE: THE LEGALLY REQUIRED LANGUAGE OF HOW TO REQUEST ABSENTEE BALLOTS!

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYEES ARE RESPONSIBLE:

1. WHOEVER CREATED THE WORDING OF THE TEXT
2. WHOEVER DID THE WORD - PROCESSING
3. WHOEVER CAUSED OR WAS A PARTY TO THE ORDERING OF THE REQUESTS
4. WHOEVER CAUSED OR WAS A PARTY TO THE PRINTING OF THE REQUESTS
5. WHOEVER PARTICIPATED IN ANY PHASE OF THE REQUESTS GETTING MAILED TO VOTERS.
6. ALL ACCOUNTANTS
7. ALL TREASURERS
