The US Supreme Court abandons 96 year old precedent protecting consumer interests.

::::::::

The US Supreme Corp, I mean Court, has struck a decisive blow to American consumers by overturning a law that prohibits corporations from setting minimum prices.

 Remember Chief Justice Roberts confirmation hearing? Remember Associate Justice Alito's confirmation hearing? Remember how they both swore up and down to uphold precedent? Remember that little Latin phrase: stare decisis?

 Well, it's OK to forget about it now....

 I wonder how the big oil corporations and the big financial services companies feel about the Supreme Corp's latest ruling?

 This ruling does irreparable harm to American consumers and obfuscates the Sherman and Clayton Antitrust Acts. It recreates the operative, manipulative tools of robber barons and throws back consumerism a full century.
