It seems pretty clear. Losers buy Hummers because they feel better about themselves. GM marketing research has figured this out, so that's how they target the ads. I could be wrong. But it sure looks that way.

Another Hummer ad. This one tells viewers to get back their manhood by getting a hummer. What kind of loser can regain his manhood by owning a Hummer. I get it. It's GM for dummies. GM thinks they are selling to dummies, and that's the way to sell cars, by treating them as dumb.
