There is no excuse, when you have access to the best advice available, but you refuse to seek it out and use it. We expect our government to be fore-sighted in all areas and find no excuse when we are unprepared and unready to act in every area.

::::::::

It is absolutely dismaying to watch the videos from Egypt where they are fighting over flour. Flour is worth more selling it in bulk than making bread. Without government subsidies, Egypt would see no bread for the people. And we didn't even fight! We have been fighting The War On Drugs, for years, and have been fighting teenage pregnancies, as well, ... an extension of the drug war. We identified the needs in our communities, and we used government funds to meet those needs, ... but, farm shortage and flour? We didn't even fight.

Farmers could have told them, but our government had identified their own fake war, on which, to spend billions. We find out now, that the war was swift-boated by a bunch of aging, old generals who had no personal involvement in the war. Fighting an unneeded war, while another war was creeping up on us? But we were unprepared. Food shortages are a crime against humanity, which our government has back-door supported throughout 2000, and we didn't even fight.

And who didn't suspect that meddling in the Middle East, would cause gas supply problems. We were left unsuspecting! A war we could have won, but we didn't even fight. We have truck drivers that deliver groceries over a thousand miles in Texas and California, and they are subjected to the high price of gas. And now we have high food prices in our stores!! Duh!!! A war that we could have won, and we didn't even fight!

We then find out that our dollar is devalued to half its value in Europe and around the world. This cannot but help to hurt the value of our dollar here in the U.S. . It costs our government in over-seas investments and gives other countries the ability to invest in America for half price. And we didn't even fight!

But it is not Bush's fault. He had a terrorist act that he had to deal with. We elect a president to be fore-sighted and multi-dimensioned. Hey, I and thousands of other U. S. citizens, including Obama, saw the futility of fighting a war in an Islamic country. Ignorance is no excuse, when it comes to a president of the United States. He has the opportunity to get all the expertise, available. He failed in the Iraq War, the war on food shortages, the war on gas prices, and the war on the devalued dollar. Count it. That is three wars in which President Bush and his administration has failed to act in this country. And we didn't even fight!!!! And one in which his reaction is a disaster!!
