An open letter to MSM news organization employees

A MESSAGE TO MSM NEWS ORGANIZATION EMPLOYEES: 

If you out there, you who are reading this, work for a newspaper or news organization that could be termed part of the "U.S. Mainstream Media" (meaning your employer is a large corporation in the “News and Entertainment Industry”)... And you are part of the news-gathering and disseminating part of that organization...

Then I hope you no longer consider yourself a "journalist". Because that time-honored term is reserved for those with moral integrity and professional ethics. It is a term given to honorable people with names like "Edward R. Murrow"; and it is not to be dirtied and defiled by those with no moral spine or ethics.

"Journalist" is not a term that applies to liars, shills, propagandists, deceiving suppressionists, and fascist collaborators. The more accurate term for those is "cowardly self-serving criminal".

Yes, you heard me: If you are a member of a news organization that is deliberately suppressing the news of last week's Articles of Impeachment being read to Congress, then that is what you are. You certainly DO NOT deserve the title of "journalist". And when the truth comes out about what you have allowed yourself to be associated with.... You will not for long be an employee of a news organization with the ability to shape public opinion, either. You and your bosses will be unemployed, with no hope of re-employment in your previous field.  And the Public will say: “Good riddance to bad rubbish”.

Because your employers have taken a mighty and foolish risk: That by deliberately suppressing the important news of Impeachment, that this “storm” can be weathered. Well, it will not be weathered. Your employers have miscalculated. And by going along with what you know in your heart to be immoral, unethical, and probably illegal.... You have condemned yourself.

You had a chance to resign. It was your duty as an American citizen to resign, and to use your skills to make others aware of this situation. You have failed your duty; and have utterly disgraced yourself and your profession.

Here’s a news-flash for you: There is no hiding the suppression; by definition it is quite obvious, and impossible to deny. It cannot be explained away, nor will it be forgiven once the realization of the enormity of this deception hits the American people; which it most certainly will.

Your only chance for redemption is now to renounce your employer, and go public. If you fail to do so, there will be no mercy or pity for those who have betrayed the tenets of free journalism and democracy; and the people that you once claimed to serve.  If you do not, you would be wise to start looking for a new career; and perhaps a good lawyer as well.

There are millions of us who know what you have done. We will not forget; nor will we permit it to be forgotten.  You have broken a sacred trust, and no longer deserve to be in a position of trust. "Following orders" is no defense; and cravenly trying to protect a lucrative career, with the end result of being banned for life from that career, is no bargain either. Your employers are not only gambling with their own careers, they are recklessly risking yours as well… But in the end, the choice and the responsibility is yours; not theirs.

Those who break from their employers now have a chance. Your whistle-blowing voice for truth will save you from future disaster and disgrace; and your courage will help many others to do the same. Those that do break away now, will greatly improve their career choices for the future.... When there will suddenly be a surprisingly large number of high-profile positions opening up in news organizations.... Positions forcedly vacated from by those who were formally "on top of the world"… But will then be at the "end of the unemployment line" (or in jail awaiting trial). 

You still have a choice. We are waiting to hear you make it. Just don't wait too long: Only the people who act before the first waves of overwhelming public indignation and anger aimed at those who would lie and deliberately suppress important news for their own selfish interests will be safe.

And do not fool yourself: The enormity of what is being tried here cannot long succeed. We do not live in a vacuum; MSM in its arrogance and fatal overconfidence fails to see that it does not have such an air-tight monopoly as to pull this off successfully. There is the foreign press, there is the Internet, there will be other “defectors”; and there is the righteous indignation of millions who will see justice done.

For if you act now, bringing out whatever proofs you can along with your soul…  You will be able to truthfully and proudly call yourself a “Journalist” again. Until that time, do not deceive yourself; and know you are certainly not deceiving others.
