I recently watched a documentary called, “Standard Operating Procedure”. By now, most people have seen too many of the Abu Graib Iraqi prisoner photos and may have been overexposed. The Documentary goes into what happened afterward, and what the world sees of the US, and us.
Only those below the rank of Staff Sergeant were punished, and most of the torture and anonymous prisoner murdering was declared “Standard Operating Procedure”, by the military and American Justice.
If we as Americans have questions of where we currently are, and what we want our soon to be, current administration to deal with, this documentary is a must see. [links and more, here]
