Netherlands appears to have mass transit, and they use bicycles to get around. America on the other hand has one of the most wasteful transportation systems on Earth. Everyone must buy a $20000 dollar vehicle and fill it full of gas all the time just to get to work. It does not matter if you only make 9 bucks an hour and work part time. No one rides with anyone else either.
