Mobile County Emergency Management Agency, the Mobile Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and the Semmes Boys and Girls Club have partnered together to open a Pet Friendly Shelter in Mobile County. The shelter is located at the Semmes Boys and Girls Club (the Old Semmes Middle School) located at 3810 Wulff Road, East. This shelter is being opened as a last resort shelter for pet owners. You should make preparations for your pets ahead of time but if you are unsuccessful then you are welcomed to bring your pets to this designated shelter. This shelter is for domestic pets only (dogs and cats), no exotic animals allowed. Employees and Volunteers with the Mobile SPCA will be at the shelters to watch over your pets.
