There has been a huge amount of speculative, paranoid rants.

In past months, on this and many other sites, there has been an incredible amount of speculative, paranoid and highly emotional rants. So, now, let's have some accountability and introspection about so much emphasis on the negative, rather than on solutions. What happened to that Bush attack on Iran before the election? What happened to all those Rove thefts of the election? When there is so much well justified anger and hatred towards a clearly abusive administration there is too much tendency for "progressives" and other dissenters to literally go "nuts." We all see the nutiness of far right smecks like Hannity, Limbaugh and O'Reilly; they are as delusional as Bush. We should not appear delusional. We need to ensure that we on the opposite end of the political spectrum not appear as nutty. With some 60 percent of eligible voters NOT voting - even in this highly energized election year - we need to be cognizant of how others see us. We should be focused not merely on preaching and ranting to the choir, but on reaching the politically disengaged and those most turned off by the current two-party controlled political system. Let us not forget, that many, many terrific third-party candidates this year were screwed not just by the mainstream media, but also by two-party control.
