Candidate kevin invites you to watch the movie Invictus and take the message of the life of Nelson Mandela seriously. America is a mess socially with 1% to 10% controlling the whole land. We need a 20 year reform march and make America the most improved country, i.e. if we are to offer an alternative to China,Asia, Latin America, or Europe.

INSPIRATION NEEDS TO BE REGAINED

By Kevin Stoda

Dear America,

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1057500/

Without a doubt, Americans need [1] to watch Invictus, the movie. Our elected leaders need to take their cues from Nelson Mandela--who donated a third of his salary to charity, saying the politicians in the country make too much.

I'd seen the film[2] on an airline trip some time ago. It is filled with ways to motivate groups, teams--and inspire a nation. (The Clint Eastwood film is base upon the book, INVICTUS, by John Carlin.)

We, Americans as a People and Nation, need to go to the Robbin Islands of America and visit its hurting corners (of America)--whether these hurts are of poverty, of marginalization, of unjust treatment, of families losing children--and parents--in war, or of people losing homes and looking for jobs in the messed up economy bequeathed now to this generation to undertake repairs.

We must learn. We must throw all of the nation's extra wealth and misguided into a reform of America movement--and make the USA the most improved nation in the world over the next 20 years.

We must start yesterday.

Yours,

KAS

p.s. See the film, book [3] links, some story notes below.

p.p.s. NOTE: America obviously needs more mature leadership and participating populace. A friend says that Hebrews 5 has a warning for you: "Warning Against Falling Away" from your dreams and expected maturity as a nation and as human beings:

" 11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil." [4]

NOTES

[1] Here is the "Listen to Your Country" and "Work" on our destiny speech--that would be good for you, America, to listen to everyday till you reform your national rhythm.

[2] Ella Taylor's review of Clint Eastwood movie,

http://book.co.za/blog/2009/12/10/ella-taylor-reviews-invictus-the-movie-directed-by-clint-eastwood/

"Aside from Morgan Freeman, who makes a fabulous Nelson Mandela, there's this to savor about Invictus, a rosy tale of racial reconciliation neatly wrapped in a triumphalist sports movie: The film is blessedly free of Obama parallels. Also, we could use a happy global moment, and Eastwood picks one out of the otherwise rocky history of South Africa, when the country's first post-apartheid president stepped out of the jail where he'd languished for 27 years and firmly set aside revenge politics in favor of national unity.

More than most, Mandela understood the cohesive power of the symbol--in this case, the bright green uniform of the South African rugby team the Springboks, echoing the flag equally beloved by whites and hated by blacks under apartheid. Adapted by South African writer Anthony Peckham from a book by former London Independent journalist John Carlin, Invictus tells the story of how Mandela, with help from the Afrikaner team captain, Francois Pienaar (Matt Damon, gym-pumped into Michelin Man and oozing fair play), turned a World Cup rugby match into a moment of rainbow solidarity."

However, her full review is more cynical of South Africa in the present--as many Americans are today.

[3] Book Details--Invictus: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Made a Nation by John Carlin EAN: 9781848873353

By the way, the book is rated better than the movie:

[4] If the elite in America would only realize that the nation of America still needs building with all hands on deck, we could get this journey together started.

One warning: "Many people believe that all South Africans are now free and the latest movie Invictus seems to create the scenario that the rugby world cup of 1995 united the country. My book simply states that there is much more nation building to be done. I need the experts to advise me. Thank you."--another South African who has been on the journey.
