The American Civil Liberties Union has an article on their website titled, "Know Your Options at the Airport," that presents the fallacy that there are options at the airport.The article describes the various things you must do while the TSA searches your property, gropes your genitals and confiscates your personal property for no reason and at random.
The article ignores the fact that you have no options at the airport. You will go through TSA screening. You will submit to whatever they want you to do. You will be subject to body scanning and/or being humiliated with sexual groping. You have no options at all about that.
"Know Your Options at the Airport" begs the question. You can't know your options when there are none.
It's supremely ironic that the American Civil Liberties Union is telling you how to cooperate while having your civil liberties violated.
