The Deputy Israeli Defence Minister Matan Vilnai said on Friday the Palestinians would bring on themselves a 'bigger holocaust'. What an incredible and rare admission from the Israelis with very revealing consequences.
First there is an admission that there is a Holocaust going on in Gaza already perpetrated by Israel against Palestinians.
Second, it reveals that the Israeli government is shamelessly prepared to intensify this Holocaust, as we saw.
Third, it gives the impression that Palestinians are bringing this Holocaust onto themselves. This means that in view of the government of Israel, Holocaust victims can be blamed for the crime. This is an appallingly racist position that should be a major cause of outrage for the whole world and for the Jews in particular. Even the Nazis were careful to hide their Holocaust. Yet Israel's deputy defence minister today is openly threatening Holocausts on others. How disgusting.
