| How hard is it to find a six-foot-tall Muslim tethered to a dialysis machine? Or did Osama bin Forgotten get a couple of kidney transplants nobody knew about? Much like the other infamous camera-greedy terrorist Dick Cheney, Osama refuses to go gentle into that good night and leave us normal people alone. It's just not safe to turn on your TVs anymore. You never know what terrorist might be on camera, scaring the bejeezus out of us. Just last night Al Jazeera television aired a video recording by al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in which he said the U.S. president had planted seeds for "revenge and hatred" toward the United States in the Muslim world, Reuters reports. As usual, the U.S. government is studying the tape to determine it's authenticity. Rumors that bin Laden is actually deceased and these videos are somehow being fabricated with an Osama look-alike still persist. They should do the same with Cheney's video "appearances." There's suspicion he's been deceased for centuries. President Obama is in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, today for talks with King Abdullah about the Arab-Israeli conflict, the situation with Iran, and, of course, oil. And Osama is hot on his trail. Should be the other way around, y'think? Osama taunted Obama in the 22-minute tape, accusing the U.S. President of following in Dubya's footsteps. Heck, we don't need Osama for that -- we've got Deadeye Dick! Dick and his minions (mainly on Fox "News") are perfectly capable of generating vengence and hatred toward America all by themselves. As long as Cheney's in front of the kleig lights, Osama might as well hang up his jihad and take a vacation. |
