"a team of people that does God's Will without ever discovering what they are doing."

::::::::

“This is the time that’s been given to me on God’s Highway”

--Tobias Froberg

Received a nice email from a friend in New Orleans about how “something is happening” and it seems as if all of the people trying to figure out what in the heck is going on with our country are converging in cyberspace and in well, New Orleans. He referenced a term “karrass” that was unknown to me. I asked and he explained that the term comes from Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle"— "a team of people that does God's Will without ever discovering what they are doing."

The whole idea of New Orleans made me miss the place, and so I scouted around for some music and visited Theressa Anderson’s MySpace page. I wrote a bit on these pages a while back about how Andersson, Susan Cowsill and Betty Harris blew away Algiers during JazzFest.

Whether it was serendipity, organized chaos or “karrass” at work, I found a wonderful video there. Just listen and you will get it. Play it once, play it twice…sing it as a prayer.

Credits: Video directed by Oskie Creech. Starring Steve Zissis. Also featuring Kim Collins, Sarah Fontenelle and Rebecca Rebouche. Lit by Frank Relle. Produced by Alex Smith. Special effects by Arthur Mintz. God's Highway was written by Tobias Froberg.

Note: Yes, I know there is a piece of code hanging out there when you view the video. Any of you geeks out there know how to fix, let me know. I tinkered with the code for an hour and gave up.
