First, a general letter (such as the following) was sent out to every college
in AL, FL, GA, MS, SC, and TN, which included faculty, administration,
and student organizations:
Why is it that much of the secular world believes that
Genesis cannot be taken literally? Does that mean that
God Word can not be trusted?
Or does it just mean that Creationism & Theology do not
understand the Genesis text? It must be the latter because
they run from the following four questions:
Where did the water come from on the first day?
Why were the birds created on the fifth day before
mankind in chapter one, and created after mankind
in chapter two?
Why is it that the land animals are created before
mankind in chapter one, and after Adam in chapter
two?
Why is it that male and female are created together in
chapter one, and the animals are made between them
in chapter two?
Does the Genesis text contradict itself? Is the Genesis narrative
just a myth, made up by an ancient culture? Or is it that modern
mankind does not understand what God has given us? How does the
ancient geologic history of Earth come into play? How is it that
Genesis declares mankind to have been on Earth, in his present
likeness, for more than sixty million years?
Hiding the truth of Genesis is detrimental to both adults and our
children. Ignorance of God’s Word gives more support to the
objectionable teaching of evolution, because when it comes time to
explain Genesis, the public is left without a coherent response. The
worlds of creationism and theology fail to accept the reality that
their teachings don’t make sense. Because of this, the secular
world believes God’s Word is a myth. Who is at fault? What is
the truth about Genesis that theology doesn’t know about?
Creationism is no where close to the truth.
A Genesis presentation is available that will remove the confusion
between the literal truth of Genesis, and what modern science has
discovered. It is a sixty-minute presentation, with a thirty-minute
allowance for questions from the audience. It answers the above
four questions (and more), using the correct authoritative literal
truth of scripture.
A person of the student run newspaper, wrote back and said:
<< I talked to the right people here on campus. The Hall Auditorium
<< is the place where speakers and lecturers come to give talks and
<< seminars. It costs $500 to obtain the room but it would be free
<< if a student organization hosted the event. Contact Ms. H___
<< for more information.
I answered them and said:
>>Very well. As I remember, last November, I contacted everyone
>>that is copied in with this response
Then, the college priest who was out of town to visit family, read the first letter at top), and responded as such:
<< I am not sure who has included me in this email group mailing.
<< Please remove my name, because I do not subscribe to literal
<< interpretation of Scripture. I do not mean to offend anyone who
<< does, but I am just not interested in this seminar. God bless us all.
I felt that it showed the sad state of affairs in the world of theology. I
responded with the following:
Dear Father D...,
Hello. Glad to hear you made it back safely.
So, you are saying that God's Word is a lie? You don't believe in the
Bible, so why do you pretend to believe in God? You take this position
and expect to get into God's Heaven? If so, you are deep into a
delusion.
By your words, you don't even want to believe God's Holy Word, nor
are open to learning what the truth is, because you apparently don't
care. This presentation explains how the literal truth of Genesis reveals
that God made this universe over four billion years ago, in six days
(Ex. 20:11), and rested on the seventh day. That is 168 hours.
A long while afterward, there was destruction and extinction on Earth.
God restored life after an interval of time. But there was a second
extinction, and a third, and two more. It's all in Genesis chapter one.
But you have to understand what the text is saying. Just a superficial
reading yields confusion.
Without personal instruction, most everyone will get it wrong. Genesis
is a book of advanced math & science. By trade, I'm a computer
programmer/analyst. I used my training as a data analyst to help me
(along with a personal message from God) discover what God was
revealing to Moses.
There are TWO literal weeks. The first one is Creation Week,
seven 24-hr days, 168 hours in total. The second is the week
(six 12-hr days) that God revealed seven days of the past to Moses
on Mt. Sinai. Those seven days were not taken from the same week.
They were from seven different weeks from the past. Remember the
70 weeks of Daniel? Well these are the seven weeks of Moses, only
that he saw just one day from each week, in biblical order, not
chronological order.
I can understand not knowing the truth about Genesis, but the
unwillingness to learn what the truth of scripture is, is uncalled for...,
and is characteristic of an infidel. When the blind lead the blind,
they both fall in the ditch. Are you willing to host this presentation
before more people die in ignorance of the truth?
Please advise,

The priest wrote back, and rejected the seminar.
