The debates are boring and despicable. It's clear the guy with the most interesting things to say doesn't get the time he deserves. And on the other side, the conservative I'd most like to hear is Ron Paul. He is a kind of conservative I respect because I happen to respect people like John W. Dean and Pat Buchanan who can thoughtfully and logically talk their conservatism rather than talk with purely dogmatic rhetoric like all the top Republicans do now. Even Democrats have become really dogmatic lately. Their rhetoric is so heavy and so crazy that we should all fear what they really mean when they open their mouth to speak.
So, point blank: Let's get going people. Let's circumvent these network debates that blow. Let's throw a debate between Paul and Kucinich. If we cannot get it on television, let's at least record it and put it on YouTube. It would clearly send a message that we are sick and tired of the status quo and the establishment and just talking about it isn't enough.
Something has to be done to change it and it can only be done by people with radical policies to enact such change.
