Congressman Evans has been an insprational and tecacious voice for veterans ever since he came to Congress,and it will be hard to do without him.For that reason,I am pleased to hear from you.Working together,we will hopefully be able to pick up the fight for our nation's veterans where he left off.

Well I did! We had a young Marine who was wounded and suffered from PTSD no Republican would step up to help.
As you know from my post I fight for veterans and the troops.
This Marine called on my org. when he was about to lose his home.
We went to work right away . A Marine who is part of our org Dirk Enger running for State Rep in IL. And the founding member of the Midwest Veterans Homeless Shelter in IL. Call on veterans to help we save him fron going homeless and losing his home.
But the Republicans from this Marine district refuse to help.
Bob Filner step up to the plate. He called the VA and had them reopen this Marine case.
Today July 17 I talked to this Marine wife. Thanks to Democrats this Marine is the first of the returning troops to recieve 100% PTSD . Now this is after three years of fighting for him.
