A Christmas Miracle

We all seem to respond to Christmas with emotions ranging from ennui to blessed peace.

No matter.  If you read this with a sense of wonder and hope, you can spend these holidays watching the sky and then looking at your television.

Yesterday, I received a press release from London.  That is where Benjamin Crème, Scottish artist, author and editor of Share International magazine lives with his wife.

Although in his mid 80's, Crème is a model of fortitude and, if not physical, then spiritual strength.  He has spent the better part of the last 30 years traveling the world with a message of hope, of peace, and of the return to the everyday world of the teacher expected by all traditions, but who does not come as a religious figure.   As Crème describes it, Maitreya comes for all people, religious and non religious alike.  He speaks to the human heart and apparently plans to give his first public interview on a major US television program in a very short time....days/weeks, according to Crème.

Interestingly enough, there will be a sign in the sky – a very bright star which can be seen night and day.  Sounds like the star of Bethlehem, or the star which appeared in the sky over Nairobi, Kenya for a week before He appeared to the Christian healing session of Mary Akatsa.  As reported in the Kenya Times by editor Job Mutungi, and reported on CNN, a man recognized as Jesus by the throng, appeared on June 11th, 1988 and spoke to the crowd in unaccented Swahili for a short time.  This time the event will potentially be worldwide.  He apparently won't tell his true status or name, but can be recognized by the breadth of his ideas, his love of mankind, and his message of "share and save the world".

Can you imagine a world in which all men and women live in peace?  Where all are free to raise their families with nourishing food, adequate shelter, healthcare and education as human rights?  Can you imagine the healing to come when people trust one another?  It is hard to imagine that now, but based on my past experience with this information since 1985,  I am convinced that this new world is all but upon us if we will just listen, just hear these ideas expressed by a man whose stature is that of the Buddha, the Christ, the Messiah, the Imam Mahde, Sri Krishna.  According to Creme, he will show the interconnectedness of all life, and the relationships, intimate indeed, between all of the great Teachers whose followers started the world's religions.  Can you imagine what that means for the future of humanity?
